Photography is for me a hobby that started as a curiosity, then an interest, and then a passion. The idea of being able to perfectly capture the moment in flawless clarity, culminating in the reward of a shot well-taken, is an addiction that I am only too happy to feed.

Among my other hobbies are carpentry, skiing, hiking, and overall spending time with my beloved family. To my delight, I have found that all of these are ideal opportunities to integrate and practice the art of photography. A friend of mine once described hunting as 'hiking, but with a purpose.' I laughed at the time, but I now find that my own 'photohunts' are precisely that. By finding photography, I have introduced a new level of meaning and pursuit to enrich my favorite aspects of life.
